Our People
We actively promote health and well-being so that our people are engaged and feel valued. Vassos Eliades Ltd promotes physical well-being by investing in employee physical training, and promotes healthy eating by investing in specialized nutritionists who offer healthy eating guidance to our employees.

Education is one of the most important factors in the development of human resources within our company. We aim to continuously develop our company’s human resources by investing in trainings, both virtual and physical.
Environment
Following the completion of the 200KWh photovoltaic roof park at our Distribution Centre in Dali in October 2022, we have achieved 100% use of electricity from solar energy, achieving the goal of zero carbon footprint from the use of electricity in our Distribution Centre.
Our Warehouse & Distribution Center in Dali Industrial Area is built with the use of bioclimatic architecture. It has a high thermal insulation, and a geothermal cooling system to ensure low temperatures during summer months and a solar tube system that provides internal lighting without the use of electricity during daylight in both the warehouse and office spaces.
The Warehouse & Distribution Center is built with green energy saving systems and is awarded by Green Dot Cyprus as a “Building with high environmental and energy standards“. The building has been classified as ‘Energy Efficiency A’ by the Ministry of Energy, Commerce & Industry.
Our company is Certified with the EMAS (Eco Management & Audit Scheme) which is developed by the European Commission for companies to evaluate, report and improve their environmental performance.
Our company is a founding member of Green Dot Cyprus (the first collective recycling system approved in Cyprus) and WEEE (Waste from Electrical & Electronic Equipment) Cyprus.
We have been awarded the “Golden Protector of the Environment” award for 2022, within the framework of the Pancyprian Environmental Awards for Organizations and Businesses.
In 2020 the company was awarded for its environmental policy by the Department of Environment in collaboration with the Cyprus Energy Agency.

The company’s sales department serves customers all over Cyprus (supermarkets, pharmacies, hotels, restaurants, kiosks, etc.) with a consistent and professional manner, aiming to always provide excellent customer service.
The organization is certified with the ISO 22000:2005 (Food Safety) and ISO 9001:2008 (purchase, storage, sales and distribution) quality systems. Our company also operates a Customer Relationship Center that handles any consumer queries.
Our company contributes to the community by supporting associations and charitable institutions with product donations and sponsorships.
Our company’s main priority today and in the future is to protect the health and safety of our employees, together with contributing to the protection of society. Vassos Eliades Ltd received the Gold Award in the category ‘CSR actions implemented to encounter the negative effects of the coronavirus pandemic’ in the Cyprus Retail Excellence Awards.
